Why do people fear to counter?

- They don't see how they would be better off with the counter
- They got no clue about the game (with old scoring this tended to stay at below 500 level with new inflation it's around on 500 tables as well - The original truce is actually too strong to be beaten - The truce was made more subtle (cool?,I flag, silent trucing) but i think the main reason we're looking at here is this: People got no easy way to know if they can trust the other player or not. The one major reason i think i see substantially more counters on top tables is that people know each other and know who has the balls to fight a counter. The ealier proposed rating score applied to a name would help this a lot i guess. There have been good ideas about this in the ideas section. something like a 10 games delay of that fame bar sounds reasonable to me though. other reasons why people fear counters? opinions? feel free to post.
