Dude, blue crab fucking rocks. When I was a kid, my parents next door neighbor was an ex-Coast Guard Captain and he lived on the water. He had permits for a few hundred crab pots and about 4 times a year he'd have a crab picking and invite the whole neighborhood. Good times!!!

Yeah, FEW HUNDRED. Like I said, he feeds the entire neighborhood. He serves them steamed hot, steamed and chilled, soft shells, EVERYTHING! It's always a good meal. Forty or fifty people cracking crabs and drinking beers. All the women in the neighborhood bring other dishes like pasta salads, and desserts.
