There were many players watching this tourney last night. Moondust has been whining about the tourney for the past 24 hours. Im just curious if there was anyone watching(not in the tourney at that point in time) that would give me their opinion of whether i played fair or not. I try to play consistent and fair in this game. I made all truces in chat and based on starting position, not because of someones screen name. I dont like being called a cheat by some whiner who lost the tourney. Never once did i backstab or kill someone based on "tourney strategy". Actually the one guy who claimed i was playing unfair promised a flag to me and then when he won his battle decided that he would go back on his word. The reason he did this was because we were then down to the final 2 and he knew that there wouldnt be any consequences in that tourney. Kinda funny that the player that actually played a dirty game was the guy who whined and said im a dirty player and a points whore, lol

I'm sure that some of your friends will jump and give you some support here, but I would rather hear a neutral version. Anyway. Here's mine: In game 12, I offered the two of you to fight for overall second. Both of you disagreed, you truced and killed me instead. In the games 13-17 I tried my best to truce either of you or to fight for 2nd. Neither of you accepted an alliance when I offered it. EVEN WORSE: I was never allowed to fight for 2nd. You had pwnd me in game 12 You had pwnd me in game 13 You had pwnd me in game 14 You had pwnd me in game 15 You had pwnd me in game 16 And now you wonder why I didn't stick to that vflag in game 17? That's just pathetic. |

That is a huge LIE actually. I think it was game 8 or 9 when we sat together at a table (5 players). I had 4 lands and flagged 3rd. Pat had only two lands. I shouted that I flagged 3rd. Nevertheless, you took two of my lands with the explanation: "You have the most points here and two players have to die, so why not you?" I think it was Cody and WarDog who confirmed that it is a legitimate TOURNEY STRAT. So there are three people who could confirm that you are lying here. |

at 1:20 PM, Monday January 19, 2009 EST moon u were in last place in that game and wanted to fight someone on the other side of the map, lol. You had 2 lands and needed at least 5 lands to border the player u wished to fight. Also i didnt truce u in that other game u speak of because u were of no threat or benefit to me as jijo was. I dont truce just to truce. I truce to avoid a battle with a stronger or = player. Why would i ever truce someone on the other side of the 3 person map. So that me and someone can fight while the other sits and builds to take 1st? I wish we had a replay of this tourney so everyone could see how stupid u sound

at 2:00 PM, Monday January 19, 2009 EST I think everything was fair enough, actually moon had baad starts for 3-4 games in a row, while ji-jo and tato got nice starts. Actually i think that jijo fucked his 2nd by himself he could kill tato few games in a row when he had not so many pts and secure his 2nd in the tourney. But tato earned 200% from that situation indeed.

at 7:49 PM, Monday January 19, 2009 EST Potato it was a legit tourney strategy. But real LAME.
Don't hate the players hate the game -- so I'm not attacking you potato when I give you my impressions. I saw the game. You and the other player wouldn't attack each other, game after game after game until Moondust was down to nothing. What was it a dozen games? It was normal 'tourney' strategy and it was legit. But it was real lame. I can't criticize potato for it because had I been in his shoes I might have done the same thing in order to win. And probably I would have been as arrogant as he was during the tourney and the next day. Was it an amazing comeback? Yes. Was it severe Doucheplay? Yes. Can we blame Potato for the way the game is set up now? No. But perhaps Potato can look at it from the shoes of Moondust for a few minutes and get what the problem is, where his anger is from. And understand why he would strike out. Lets not let any anger linger. Kdice isn't worth it. |

at 9:11 PM, Monday January 19, 2009 EST I was actually watching the tourney on Sunday. I came in when it was the final three with Potato, Moondust and jijo. Moondust had about 4k and potato had like 600 and jijo had 12(lol at 12) anyway, It would have been very foolish for Potato to kill jijo cause with jijo out of the equation, potato would have no chance to win the tourny with 600 points compared to moondusts 4,000. So jijo and potato truced as they should have. I agree with moondust that it was lame... but its a game and it was the smart thing for them to do in a situation like that. The smart thing to do would have been making sure that jijo got third so he would be knocked out so moondust can face potato alone..... but that didnt happen. Eventually jijo got knocked out and potato had about 2k and so did moondust. The luck was given to potato and he won the tourney overall. So overall good gameplay to jijo and potato. Do anything to survive

at 10:23 PM, Monday January 19, 2009 EST Ok, i just want to say one more thing and then im dropping it. Just understand that i didnt truce jijo in any of those game due to who it was or how many points they had. When i get down to the last 4 ppl i just try to survive. If moon wouldve been a better truce in any of those games i wouldve truced him instead. I actually was trying to find the right oppurtunity to kill jijo without backstabbing any truces, but every game he had a more dominant start
