What did I do wrong.....

OK im playing a game and im in first place. Red is flagged too me as 2nd, and green is flagged as third, Brown is unflagged so I try a 7v6 and lose. Brown asks if he can fight for third place.
I allow this, personally i believe all players deserve the right too fight. Brown begins too fight green for third and is winning easily. I instruct red too sit and let them fight. Green begs for reds help and red attacks brown causing green to regain the fight. So as 1st place and since red was asked too sit. I kill him and make him last... and I am the bad guy. So tell me how should I have handled this differently? |

brown started to beat green red was truced with green earlier, so he decided to help against brown, which made it an unfair 2v1. at this point you punished red for the 2v1. perhaps a more accepted practice would be to attack green (if you could get at him). you could easily justify this by saying, red if you enter the battle, i will too. but, if you couldnt get to green, then i think you are justified in going after red, even if he is bobby knight. i still wouldnt give him last, i would let him keep 2nd, but then i would give green last, since he was losing to brown before the 2v1 started. |
