Small Tournament Problem

During tonight's tourney a small problem cropped up where the game was down to two tables and about 8 people left in the tourney. Both tables ended up dragging their games out as they waited for the other table to get people out so that those at their own table would rank high enough in the tourney to get points. Obviously this ends up in a stalemate if both tables sit there waiting, which is almost what happened. Not sure what measures could be implemented to prevent this but just thought I'd bring it up.

at 1:56 AM, Thursday December 4, 2008 EST yea, we could've been deadlocked but one guy at our table broke it (though he didn't have to, and he ended up lagging out anyhow). I think Willy makes a solid point that tourney position should be determined by prior round's score rather than time of knock out.
