I wonder if anyone remembers this. It used to be that you were punished for playing against bad players because if you lost your rating got hammered. Now you get punished hardest for playing against good players and losing. Gravity pulls everyone back to the bad tables instead of pulling them to their ability level.

at 7:27 AM, Saturday November 15, 2008 EST Elo does not work well for kdice because of the chance element in each game. If elo is to be used to rank players, it should be a running average over 60 games or so instead of one's current elo score.
