The TAPL rewards all deviations against pure luck equally, whether in first place or seventh place finishes. This new test, the TAZD, uses percentages derived from the zero datum, of set of players whose scores are zero, as the basis, instead of pure luck. More detail on the TAZD is given in my ongoing post on the Advisor Blog.

The following are the TAPL's and TAZD's among the uncorrupted players in the top 25.

One thing I should note about the TAZD is that the basis percentages are game-weighted. Since the TAPL itself is game-weighted, it might be better to use the average player profile rather than the game weighted profile. Otherwise too much emphasis might be placed on games played. The average player profile is much narrower in the tails and would not punish players like Bomb who have a lot of seven-place finishes to avoid bad dom. I welcome your input.
