This is the standings after week 1
1st jpc4p 40pts 2nd= heels 30pts 2nd= nuflis 30pts 4th = thraxle 25pts 4th= unlucky 25pts 4th= jurgen 25pts 7th moneymango 15pts 8th rifty 10pts 9th AMO 5pts A bonus of 10pts was awarded to jpc4p for getting the highest number of correct scores (jcp4p got two scores exactly right...well done mate) Just a few interesting stats best...100%....Everyone predicted Arsenal would win, and they did. worst..0%....No one predicted Chelsea would only draw highest correct score %......four out of 9 of us predicted the juventus score would be 1-1 (needless to say, I wasn't one of the four) games for week 2 will be posted soon.. |

at 12:53 PM, Monday September 1, 2008 EDT No club games coming up as its World Cup Qualifiers this coming weekend,so I?ve chosen 10 games from them. As most of the games look very one sided, I?ve added some special rules just for this week for players brave enough to appose any favourites..
Normal rules apply for the following 5 games (10pts for correct score,5 pts for correct result) Macedonia v Scotland Hungary v Denmark Israel v Switzerland Austria v France Slovakia v N Ireland Special rules for the following 5 games...(normal rules if you go for the favourites...England, Spain, Portugal, Germany or Italy...however if you predict a win or draw for the underdog teams below (Andorra, Bosnia, Malta, Lichenstein and Cyprus) and they manage a win or draw,then you get another 20 points per game, ie,if you predict Andorra and Lichenstein can surprise England and Germany and they do, then its an extra 40 points even if you don?t get the score spot on!!!
