at 2:24 PM, Friday August 15, 2008 EDT "Elo" is often written in capital letters (ELO), but it is not an acronym. It is the family name of the system's creator, Arpad Elo (1903–1992, born as Élő Árpád), a Hungarian-born American physics professor.

at 3:00 PM, Friday August 15, 2008 EDT If you are not a member and you have 1000 points after 50 games played, your PPG will be 20 (1000/50)
If you are a member and have 3500 points after 50 games played, your PPG will be 20 (3500-2500)/50 also, if you were at 0 points after 5 games and you got another -50 (which keeps your score at 0), it doesn't influence your PPG. PPG only looks at your point total and your number of games to reach it. |
