losing points??? question

If you have a nasty start, what is the best thing to do.
Say I just got a bunch of weak territories far appart and was the last person to move, so I was left with two territories. I tried to survive for a while, and then i got killed and lost a total of 380 points in this one game. What is the right way to go about these situations. I mean, its a bitch whe you have to do well in 3 or 4 games, and then lose it all in one shitty start that you have no control over. Any thoughts?! |

On a 500 table you might be able to limit yourself to -170 or -150.........but you have to be prepared to flag for 7th as soon as it happens. Don't hold out hope for 5th or 4th...........and remember, 7th gets the same points as 6th, so don't wait for 6th either.
