Will everyone please stop pretending like they give a shit about what map they're playing.

Unless it has a fucking island on it; they're all the same. You're not any cooler or better at this game because you only play certain maps.

Disagree. A map with a choke point in the middle makes your start even more important than other tables that are more open, in my unscientific estimation. If you have nothing grouped on one side or the other, you are pretty much done. There are exceptions, but that's been my experience.

So, yeah, I'm better AND cooler than you. But you will learn to live with that.

Ron... you are so funny. And you speak the truth. And when did (or why would?) anyone ever make the claim to be better or cooler in relation to a map? That's just a fucking retarded argument. I mean, if somebody made the claim...like who cares?

More importantly why am I even commenting on such a lame post?

Most of the maps are much of a muchness, the horse-shoe maps suck, as whoever gains an end, some times given to them by the dice at the start is almost always 1 or 2...

but the other maps with more connectivity, no there is no difference.

wrong like totally ...

Playing at an uneven board with penisulas / islands the luck-factor is more important.

Playing at a plain-even-boring-square-board strategy and skill is more important.

You can better cheat / pga at an even board.

Thats the truth says Mutti
