For those who care (so no replies with "who cares", pls):
This last month I've decided to give bring back highly decorated jellyfish and play the game again as nuflis. I didn't have any special goal, I've been living comfortably in the warm waters between 15th and 25th, and there was no special reason for a change. I don't know why, maybe I learned something new while playing [classified] or maybe it was just luck, but I was doing extremely well. Then, one day, when I woke up, I was extremely lucky: I played 2 10k games and I won both, plus a 2.5k game.... +10500 in 3 games... from 7th to 4th. After a few days of gaining points (especially playing with potato, who was in 3rd) I got 3rd. In the meanwhile, Johnson bought a few thousands of points, Vohaul bought a few thousands also, then he quit. fiero banned my account, then unbanned it (he claims it wasn't him, but I just can say what I read on my profile). Then, last sunday, someone (in fact more than one person as it was obvious in the chats) tanked Johnson's acount and even changed his e-mail password clearly violating a few laws (I don't know in the US, but in Spain crimes against mail privacy are way too serious). I was like WOW: someone is really interested in Vohaul winning this month. Yesterday I got a lucky streak, +6k again. People were being nice to me (which happens every end of month, when players pick their favourites to win) but I was especially having good starts and decent rolls. Lol, I was close to 1st. In fact, if not for other players buying points, I would be 1st (I'm not complaining about people buying points, just stating a fact). Then fiero has appeared, and started stalking me (lol, yesterday I got a friend request from him in my inbox). Today he has been following me in my games, accusing me of cheating... Well, I've been playing this game since December 2006, people know me (look at my reviews) as a fair player. My main sin is building an army of alts each month to 2500 for the pleasure of playing. For fun. I'm not a cheater and if someone is going to smear my reputation (like fiero) I rather give up. What's your goal fiero? Voh winning the month? I don't know if I was threatening his win, but don't worry... I won't be doing it anymore. This evening I've got this review: "One of the greats of kdice. Always fair, extremely skilled and gracious in both victory and defeat. Gooooo Nuf!!! :D" - olliejjc16 That's the nuf I want to be, not the nuf that fiero is trying to make people think that I am. They're all friends and Vohaul has been close many of times but never won a month. I like Ed, so I just kinda sat back and said nothing. And as people closed in on Vohaul, Fiero, has taken it upon himself to slander, threaten and use any kind of power and influence he has to undercut the competition. Well fuck that. Fiero you can go take a long fucking walk off a short pier. Kdice isn't fierodice. They game isn't spinning on an axis around your fat ass doing as you will.
This is basically what turned me off of competeing in kdice anymore. I prefered the happy go luckiness of early 07. People would compete, and often times bend rules too far to win. But in the end, it was kind of everyone did it for fun. Not anymore. Now we have mods following players, accusing them of cheating with no proof cause they are getting close to a player in first who is a friend of the mod. You know what, kdice has become something ugly. The community is ugly, always trying to one up each other and find the faults of one another. The mods are abusing power to try and dictate how competitions end up. The whole innocent fun of early kdice is lost and now you have roving gangs of mouthbreathers trying to combat each other in some virtual gang war. Well fuck that. I'll stick with lower tables, playing with my friends and having fun talks. |

I like Ed too, but this is absolutely ridiculous. Do I think that you can get to first by yourself? Not a chance. But I think that this month has clearly crossed a line of what is acceptable. Adonia/Fiero and Vo -- it is utterly beyond me why you would do this to Nuflis. I have been playing with him for well over a year and have never seen him do something that was even near cheating. I have even witnessed Nuflis while in first lagging out of a game that is too complicated to call. It is not your job to go on a fucking witch hunt and knock out your buddy's competition. This is not the first I have heard or witnessed this, but it is the one that tipped the boat. You were chosen to be a leader in this community -- to set an example for us all to aspire to -- but all you have done was destroyed and mocked what this position could have been. You have reduced this 'position' to nothing more than a joke. Just a word of advice... when you point a finger, remember that there are three fingers pointing back at you. Don't accuse others of something you're so blatantly guilty of in the first place. |

Vo has been a good friend of mine even before the whole stupid fiero bullcrap. I apologize honestly I do, but don't pull me into this I have been nothing but friendly and feel free ask me anything I will be more than honest.

I really don't care about your little game. What I do care about is that this type of behavior -- blatant abuse of power is put to an end. I don't really want to hear about any squabbles your e-boyfriend and you had... What I do care about is that there is an active team throwing games and abusing power. Whether you are a part of that team, only you know and only you know how wrong that is. Nuflis is a strong player with a solid foundation on how to play a clean game. If you were involved in trying to take him out or have him modded, you should be ashamed of yourself. |
