my chat was removed by julesdogg and i sent the following e-mail to ryan:
--------------- julesdogg removed my ability. but i think it is an inconsistent application of the abuse chat rule. a while ago someone used the word nigger and was not banned because the mod said it was used in the heart of the moment. as for my case, well, in short, someone attacked me after i flagged and the other one took advantage and flag for the same position. i was mad at the moment and said fuck u purp. why am i banned and the case where someone said nigger is not? can the rule be more consistent? anyway, i apologise. please restore my chat ability. -------------- julesdogg banned 9 people from chatting/posting between 2:04 to 3:21 p.m. my question is, is it too excessive? are the mods having different standard in banning people? the person who said nigger didn't get banned because it was in the heat of the moment and a merely fuck you gets me banned. WHAT IS THE RULE? |

the system physically does not allow advisors to moderate unless they leave a text comment - so if something was done, at the very least, there would be a " " -action taken by advisor name- msg and there is not. This is the advisor history log that Ry coded in. Dunno what to say here? |

You do have a point tho about actions and what can be expected. As it is - an advisor might deal a penalty for a certain action whereas another might deal a slightly harsher one for the same action. Its not perfect, but there's tweaking going on and I do try to talk with other mods to see how they moderate, etc. I'm disappointed to see you got muted for just the F bomb, tho, really. http://kdice.com/ideas/ideas/44762924 This is another idea I have to make things more open and help players know what to expect. |

But its nothing like the constant cussing and nastiness of the evil-doers on the 500 table and above...like r0n etc... My mother used an expression, "They cus like sailors." I find it troublesome that Kdicefreak would be singled out when he is a saint among thieves.

(I shouldn't say that I don't know you but I am feeling mean!) 2) kdicefreak was the first to tell critics of Ryan to get a job. 3) kdicefreak popularized the efforts to post pga players on the forum when games were over. In doing this he filled our forums with objective daily alerts that informed us who all the bad people are and who to avoid. 4) This effort was a fair and balanced approach to cut down on name-calling and blame gaming in the forums and chats. 5) kdicefreak was the first to point out that the forum is occupied by a select group of elites who care nothing about the game and community. He was definitly not the first to do any of these things. Take a stroll back through the forums to see. If I had to bet, I think the first PGA accusation in the forums was in December 06.
