at 10:04 AM, Wednesday July 2, 2008 EDT I saw a similar one today. Funnily enough it was red too. Red had 4 connected territories, plus red started, plus red got a wicked restack and hence an 8 stack before anyone else had even had a go.

The best start ever, that I saw, was by MadWilly. (This was back when you could start with 6 stacks or higher). He started off with all his lands connected, minus one, and a 7 stack? something rediculous. He took over half of a map in his first turn and then resupplied 4 stacks up front to guard everything. We all laughed. Then squabbled for 2nd.. |
