Hey guys...here's my first attempt:

Dasfury walked into the 10k table, she could not wait to see Wishbone, they had been dating for a while now and things were serious. Surprisingly enough Dasfury was not scared and she did not feel like running. These feelings made her bubble inside. She never knew she could feel this way about a man. She and Wishbone had started dating just before Montecarlo turned sixteen, Montecarlo was thrilled with the match and even Dasfury’s parents were not completely against the relationship.
Things felt perfect for Dasfury and she could not dream of anything better than the life she was living.

As she sat at her usual purple spot, near the green and yellow she waited for Wishbone. She had not seen him all day and now when she finally got away from the lower tables to come and see him, he was no-where to be found. She waited.
She stood up and checked around the table to check who was in, luckily, it was the afternoon lull, and so only n00bs were around. She walked around the tables and made her way to the other 10k, she picked a new seat, and the boom of Wishbone’s voice startled her.


“Dasfury get out the fuck out of MAH RED SEAT”


“Well hello to you too handsome”
Dasfury replied with her hundred-watt smile lighting up her face.


“You aren’t supposed to steal my seat, you now that”


“Yes Wishbone I know, but I wanted red you weren’t here, so I got it myself”


“You should have asked Rnd or Integral”


“They weren’t around”


“Then you should have waited for me”


“But I didn’t know where you were, where were you anyways?”


“I had a meeting” Wishbone shifted slightly.

“You had a meeting?”
Dasfury asked quizzically. However, Wishbone just nodded.
“Wishbone its warm in here, you should take your jacket off, I’ll take it upstairs for you, while you sort your self out down here”


Wishbone shifted again, “No Dasfury its okay, I’ll go upstairs myself I need to freshen up anyways; you know how I hate meetings”


Dasfury stared at him suspiciously, and nodded mutely.


“Okay well I’ll be down in a second”, Dasfury nodded again as Wishbone disappeared behind the curtain. Dasfury went over to the curtain and popped her head round it, she saw Wishbone at the top of the stairs taking his jacket off. She noted that he was wearing his flannel,

Since when does he wear flannel for meetings? Dasfury thought to herself. She turned around and sat back in her seat, wondering what Wishbone had actually been doing.

Wishbone returned ten minutes later, with a different flannel that she had previously seen on him and he wore his dark denim jeans, along with the blue baseball cap.
He smiled at her and offered her more coffee, which she refused,

“I have to get home; Montecarlo should be back from Chilton soon, we are having a movie night, since we don’t have to go to my parents because they are away.”


“Okay well I’ll ring you later,” Wishbone asked,

“Better not” Dasfury snapped, immediately regretting she had let her guard down, Wishbone was taken aback by her tone, “Well Montecarlo and I haven’t really had the chance to have one of our movie nights in a while, so I thought we could have a long one, I’ll see you tomorrow though.” Dasfury got off her seat.


“Yeah sure” Wishbone said softly, he leaned into kiss her but she had already turned to leave. Dasfury exited the diner, leaving Wishbone behind confused at what had just happened. She never usually left without kissing him.

Dasfury walked into her house fifteen minutes later to find Montecarlo on the couch reading her latest book.

“Hey mom” Montecarlo said

“Hey, how was school?”

Montecarlo put her book down and looked at her mom, noticing how sad she looked, “School was fine, Paris had a bit of a breakdown about the Franklin, but she calmed down.
Mom what is wrong? And don’t say anything I can tell by your face that you are upset about something.”

Dasfury looked at her daughter, she admired how perceptive she was, “Montecarlo can I talk to you, I want your opinion on something,”


“Sure mom what is it?”


“How would you feel if Wishbone lived with us permanently?”


“You mean like moved in, forever?”


“Yeah, I mean I love Wishbone, a lot. I want him and me to last forever; I think this is the next step”


“I’m fine with it, I was wondering when this would happen.”


“Really?” Dasfury asked shocked

“Yeah I was but what I don’t understand is why you look sad”


“You don’t need to know, I’m being stupid”


“Mom, come on,” Montecarlo pleaded.

“Okay, well I went to Wishbone’s before and he wasn’t there. I waited and waited and eventually got up and went and got my own coffee, and then he came in”


“And told you to get out from behind the counter” Montecarlo interjected.

“Exactly, I asked him where he had been, and he said a meeting”


“Okay, mom I don’t get why you are so miserable that he went to a meeting”


“its not that, he didn’t take his jacket off, so when he went upstairs I followed and peeped my head through the curtain as he was taking his jacket off, he was wearing his flannel!”


“Okaaaayyy, mom I don’t understand why you are so upset.”

“Montecarlo, no-one goes to a meeting dressed like that”

“Maybe it was an informal meeting”


“Even if it was he would never go in flannel” Dasfury looked down at her palms, “what if he is cheating on me? What if he finally realised I’m not that great after all?”


“Mom. Come on, you do not believe that. Wishbone would never cheat. How come you want him to move in if you clearly don’t seem to trust him?”


“I’m ready for the moving in thing I really am, but if I ask him, it will show him I am serious about us and want it to last, I want him to still want to be with me”


“Mom, talk to him”

“I can’t, but I will ask him to move in”


“Do what you think is best mom”

Dasfury smiled, “I guess we should get on with our movie night then, huh?”

“Yeah let’s do that, I picked up all the Indiana Jones movies and the early James Bond movies”

Dasfury laughed, “Feeling in an adventure mood tonight Hun?”

Montecarlo just shrugged and played the first movie.





Throughout the night, Montecarlo had noticed Dasfury was not concentrating, so she decided to go to bed. Montecarlo faked yawned,

“I think I’m going to go to bed, I’m tired, and Paris wore me out with that Franklin stuff”

Dasfury turned her head to look at her daughter, “Okay Hun, sleep tight.”

Once Montecarlo had left, Dasfury turned the television off and scrambled onto the couch, she lay on a cushion and brought her knees up to her chest, all she could think of, was what if Wishbone was cheating? What did she do wrong? Who was he with? She knew she was being ridiculous and she knew she could be jumping to conclusions, but he had lied to her, what was she supposed to think?
While she was having an internal rant, the phone began ringing; she could not be bothered getting up so she let the machine picks it up. After the beep, Wishbone’s voice filled the room,

“Hey Dasfury, I know you told me not to ring, and I know you are probably watching a movie and will hit me when you see me for interrupting, but I’m going to bed soon and I just wanted to see if you were alright, you seemed kind of off when I saw you. I guess I did something, that I did not realise I was doing. If your free, ring me, I do not mind if you wake me. I just want to know if you are okay. Well I’ll hopefully see you soon, love you” he had hung up, and Dasfury lay crying. She wanted to see him, but she was scared in case he had been cheating.
