So I log into this alt, which I haven't used since April, only to find that my chat privileges have been removed. No notation in my profile, no explanation, nothing. I seem to recall having a conversation about inappropriate mod behavior with Fiero a while back, so I guess he/she/it decided to demonstrate the true meaning of inappropriate moderator behavior......

There are no comments from any mod in my profile saying that my chat privileges have been revoked. I know that when the other mods mute people they state that they are doing so. So how did I get muted in this case? Isn't there any record of what mods do? Or are they free to go gangster on anybody whenever they choose?

Whether it was you or not, the fact remains that there is a rogue mod that mutes people without warning or explanation and who does not admit to his/her/its acts. As far as I am concerned, that is far more damaging to this community than any occasional rant by a disgruntled player.
I want to know who muted this account. I want to know why it was muted. I want it unmuted. I want some assurance from Ryan that the immature, unprofessional and unethical scumbag that muted it has been disciplined. And I want this community to be safe from such random acts of bs in the future. |
