Reviews: What's the point?

I would say that less than 10% of the reviews I see are accurate and most are nothing more than someone venting about a game they lost. Positive comments are rare, because the only time someone is going to be inspired to write a compliment on someone else's wall is when they are friends. Also, who actually checks the reviews of people before the game starts? I thought that was the hole point. Unfortunately, I do not see any solution to this. The thumbs up/down solution will not be effective either. Everyone is just going to collect a large amount of thumbs downs on their profile. It won't be due to people ganging up on them either. This is a cutthroat game, and people get angry way more often then they are happy.
