add ppg to leaderboard?

Ryan, im enjoying clicking into others' stats pages to see what their ppgs are. would it be ok to add ppg to the leaderboard (not a separately-ordered list, but just an extra number next to the top 25's names), or would that make the leaderboard too crowded? i would really enjoy seeing top 25 ppgs all on the same page. (bragging rights, ofc).

I would definitely like to see that, too.

ppg would be more informative if it also included the average table level played at, which could be computed just as easily.

Keep posting stats ideas... theres a lot more that can be done

Ryan, I assume the PPG is just for the current month. Is that correct?

How about Top 25 in depth. Like the pre-January leaderboard page.

Ryan:

On the subject of stats: also, explain the ones we have. How is the percent of dom calculated that shows up in the stats for each game?

Points per root game is probably a more meaningful stat that points per game.

When skrumgaer posted the TAPL ranks of the top5 this month, I figured hey why always ask skrumgaer to do this for me, I could do it myself instead of always being so lazy.

so I did a few myself but it bothered me that a place % of 26 24 18 12 8 6 6 gives same TAPL (if same number of games played) as a player with 12 18 6 6 8 24 26 1st -> 7th.

I think TAPL can be modified a bit to get a good measure of kdice skill (TOKS score?). I am still playing with the formula to give the accurate weight for the difference from 14% for every place.

The idea is to get more than 14% for places 1->4 and get a lower % than 14% for places 5 to 7. A 20% for 1st and 18% for 2nd shows more skill than 18% 20% so I tried incorporating that by multiplying with factors of 4/3/2/1/-2/-3/-4

So the formula looks something like this (it's looks a bit different in excel form but this is a more simple representation)

(4*(D1)^2)+(3*(D2)^2)+(2*(D3)^2)+(1*(D4)^2)+(2*(D5)^2)+(3*(D6)^2)+(4*(D7)^2)

DX being the difference with 14% you get for place X. For places 5 6 and 7 obviously it's a value below 14% that will give a positive contribution to the TOKS doesn't show here but there is in the actual excel formula.

Last month I had 18 24 26 8 6 6 12 which yielded into 1024 TOKS. I had about 275 PPG last month and I think the best way to get a good measure of a players kdice skill, both factors (PPG and this TOKS 1-7 place profile) need about 50% weight. So right now I would propose PPG +(TOKS/4)

this is probably so obvious but what is ppg?
