New Zero tables Upper Limit

Since nobody bothered to look at my last post, I will post the same complaint again. And again, until it is addressed.
I get to 500 points. I am forced now to go to at minimum a 100 level table. I lose miserably (bad luck and i'm an average player)- I go back down to Zero tables. Repeat, repeat repeat. I propose that the upper score limit for the zero tables be upped to 1000. That way the ridiculously good 10,000+ people are still excluded from trolling the bottom (i.e myself and others), and I and others like myself can build up a few more points before we have to risk everything in one game. I think that's fair enough. |

at 3:48 PM, Thursday June 5, 2008 EDT It is pretty hard to lose more than 100 points on the 100 tables, so the concept of "risking everything in 1 game" is invalid. If you have 501 points and you lose 100, you still have the option of playing either 0 or 100 tables. So what is the problem? The truth is that if you gain points consistently on the 0 tables, you should also gain points consistently on the 100s, 500s, 2.5s, etc. So just play your game the way you normally do and you should see success at whatever level you are playing.

at 1:48 AM, Friday June 6, 2008 EDT woodcubed, it is just a phase you are going through. your skills will improve and you will be able to survive the 100 tables soon.
the 0 tables are ment as a place for new players to start learning the basic concepts of the game. If you managed to get to 500, you obviously are getting the hang of it but raising the limit to 1000 won't help you much. If you don't improve you will get the same problem at the 1000 border that you have with the 500 now. Trust me, you will improve and you will learn to survive at the 100 tables. If you start gaining points there you will probably encounter the same problem at the next limit and you will have to learn how to win at the 500 tables. It's all part of the fun of trying to improve your skills to gain more kdice points. I can't fully understand what your actual problem is since the way I understand it you want to play 0 tables. Reading your post, it seems you automatically return there after a few bad games at 100 anyway so you have what you want: you can play 0 tables... so your actual problem is you want to get to 1000 points? |
