i think the mod should post sth when ban someone's chat ability and say what they have done and why make u feel bad to ban
and this can let ppl know what mod think and wt we cannot be DONE
and the mod should keep the record of the chat of banning part

i thought you "knew it all".

despite this bad joke I agree with vicsf. The mod tihng is good i think, but it should be made transparent. Something official would be nice, RYAN. (!!!)
For the "mod" post you got 100 replies, for the "what should be done" post you got 130. Many people gave you their thoughts and I personally think they deserve an answer.

I agree also. What happened to Maryland yesterday was ridiculous. He gets screwed in a game, rants a little bit and an invisible mod mutes him without any warning. He did not spam the chatbox to any great extent and, although he was profane, was not out of control with it. The thing that bugs me is that no warning was given, no reason was given and nobody would own up to having been the one that muted him. If you are going to mute someone for unacceptable conduct, at least grow a pair and advise them that you are doing so and for what reason.

everytime I remove a right, whether it's playing at a table or chatting - I always post a comment / note and briefly explain WHY you got what you got - and when to expect your rights to be returned (time/date).

definitely hope other mods are at least informing others of WHY they are removing abilitys - cuz that is the nature of a good cop

oh i dont know it. who are the mods? under what circumstances would result in what? what do they look at (chat? forum posts?) and what are the penalities?

why can't things be more transparent here?

Someone could at least set up rules! We have none! How are we to determine the difference in right and wrong? Everyone has his/her own definition! Tell us mods, What is wrong?
