This doesn't seem too bad... the mods are doing a good job giving people enough leeway. This is simply a guy getting mad that he lost as opposed to constant harassment.

So why wouldn't you put that conversation up instead? People who say things like "fag" don't deserve any place in society, however if just-do-it was banned for that then i should have been banned a long time ago... Some people express themselves that way (like me) most of the time its not realy personal or as bad as it sounds and they will forget about it by the time they start the next game, so don't let it ruin your day, brush it off.

by "that" i was referring to the conversation you posted, not saying the word fag. It was a little unclear so i figured i should clarify.

I think you have to be open to a certain amount of disrespect on the internet - and especially from a game with a degree of luck. I certainly take my share of abuse on this site but I expect it.

There is a line that can be crossed however. I don't know what happened in this case but if it was just a few lines its acceptable. I draw the line if the abuse is persistent over a full game or between games - when it comes down to someones personality rather than a reaction to bad luck.

I should add that if there is someone that is consistent with this type of abuse, please report back so I or one of the mods can do something.

Ryan, perhaps you posted it and I missed it - who are the moderators? I'd like to know who the Death Eaters are!

1) I would have posted the previous conversation but I thought the fact that the moderator was in the room would have done something about it. It wasnt until later that I played the guy again that I realized nothing was done. Trust me, if i had that game recorded I would have been much more proactive about that incident.

2) I guess im just confused as to why someone needs to call me a dumb fag a certain number of times before it is considered inappropriate. My sexuality doesnt determine the way I play (most of the time, that I am aware of) so I dont see why I should expect to receive some abuse specifically attacking it "every once in a while." Your answer to moderating is employing a handful of people that have the ability to do who knows what. I like the idea, I just dont see the specifics of what is actually being done. In any case I feel that the line is crossed each and every time that I am called a fag for the way I play this game.
