what would happen if you didn't know who was what colour in a game?

I thought about that, it could be interesting, but a lot of the fun of the game is knowing playing styles and being able to predict to some extent what different players will do.

Plus would you really want to have to play an anonymous game with das? ;-)

It would be a great option as a tourney style, but it removes the social aspect, which I personally enjoy.

Good idea though, maybe it could be an option (half of tables are random or something)

Yeah, if it didn't kill the social aspect so much it'd be almost perfect for preventing pga, pge, etc, but I can see it taking too much away from the game. If kdice ever gets to a point with multiple table types, it'd be a cool one tho i think.

As an alternative, this would be cool

for regular play its not appropriate, but for tournaments or play-offs it would be really interesting to play and to watch.

people would say, guys I am "insert colour"

so I am guessing you mean chat-free games too?

could be an interesting league although it looks obvious to me some people will immediately use a seperate chat program to gain an edge on the competition

the 'people would say i am [colour]' is stopped by assigning colours randomly on the flash client.
People who say 'i am [north/the guy you just hit/whatever] would probably be focused on to be killed for being dishonest...
