BOMB played 1649 games in the month of April.
Since he never really played out of the 500 tables, we will assume that those games go faster. Just for argument sake... I don't agree with this point because I think ppl don't flag out of lower tables as quickly as higher tables, but whatever. So the average game takes 12 mins. 1649 * 15 = 24735 mins spent playing kdice. 24735/60 = 412.5 hours spent playing kdice. 412.5/24 = 17 days spent playing kdice. The average work week is 5 days a week with a grand total 20 days. Think about it... how many of you played games with Bomb? And how many of you are spread across different time zones. I understand your frustration with the points buying, but this was a team of people playing on account. If you need more proof, we have it. |

If your job entails sitting in a booth/office in a parking lot for 8 hour shifts (maybe up to 10, you know bomb loves that time + 1/2), and maybe he works weekends, and you only have to look up when a car comes or leaves, it would be totally possible to play this much. |

Using DG's math, regardless of the amount of time he is at work, he would have to play for an average of 13.75 hours a day - EVERY DAY. |

at 9:12 AM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT It comes down to roughly 50 games a day, that´s possible and in fact has been done by many players.

at 9:16 AM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT this just smells of a ploy by dicegirl to distract from the fact she tried to buy first place,
Besides, her logic stinks. She starts her maths by saying "So the average game takes 12mins" and then times the number of games by 15 hey ho. |

at 9:18 AM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT I think you're smart enough to figure out, I made a mistake on the labeling the game length.
The math for 12 still stands. I bought second, the place I earned. Go find a new game if you don't like spending money to win. |

at 9:22 AM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT With 30 days in the month, that's an average of 55 games a day. We can't assume they were evenly spread at 12 minutes a game (as suggested above); in fact, it's possible the user was operating multiple windows at the same time. And depending on the play style (techniques+tactics), he could very well be spreading quickly in one game for dom points then stepping out to focus on a more profitable game finish elsewhere. (I've seen players lag out at fifth place almost breaking even.)
And that doesn't even consider the possibility of a "fringe" personality type that drives the user to play play play all day when most of us would not. Without more data and validated insight, it's unfair to assume anything about he attains his results. |

at 9:22 AM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT To further play devils advocate, isn't it possible to play 2 or more games at the same time? I may be wrong, but if I'm not, that time total slips much lower than stated above.

at 9:23 AM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT So with the right math and 12mins it comes down to 11hours each day.
