the more severe the penalty, the more effective the policy is (to stop PGA)

Just give it a rest, Freak. You never even play at the 2.5 tables, let alone the 10s, so you are not qualified to have an opinion.

Sorry, this is incorrect.
Setting a steeper penalty to a flawed system will only accomplish the following: More alternate accounts made for PGAing, plus more unrest and dissent- which, in turn, creates disrespect and apathy- which, STAY WITH ME HERE, makes people care less and less about the morality of PGAing, which, in turn, will allow themselves to start PGAing or PGA more.

The whole RC system is flawed, just ask any of the regular 10k players. (I know this will illicit responses like "that's because they are all cheaters," alas it's always going to be hard to convince stubborn people to drop irrational arguments...like people who disagree with Affirmative Action- but I digress)

The problem with the ineffectiveness of the RC ban is not that its too short, it's that it is flawed.

Disagree, I second jpc, its a flawed system. I'm now RC'd with bone, cuz we played like 10 games today at 10k. Anyone who was there knows nothing was going on we just came out on top more than the others apparently.

Solution?: I'd prefer a message in chat that said who was flagged by RC, and then in game you could determine if it was true. Nothing is better at squashing a pga than mob mentality.

RC = flawed

I have played all month and seen people who pga (I have watched the pga in MULTIPLE games) fail to get RC

The only thing RC does is stop people who don't know how to work around the system from pgaing

And of course it stops 10k games

I love pets idea, mostly because I suggested it already ;-) Show us who is RC'd so we can gang up on them if we agree!

I like Pets idea for a warning in the chat box first. However if the correlation inreases after more and more games, the RC ban should still be installed I think.

First time ban should last a month, second ban should last 2 months, 3rd 3 months.

Another way of dealing with the problem: maybe bans can be replaced by point penaties?

First level of correlation: warning text

Second level of correlation: warning text + 5% of table limit gets transferred from both players to other 5 (=10% total / 5 others = 2%)

Third level of correlation: warning text + 7,5% of table limit gets transferred from both players to other 5 (=15% total / 5 others = 3%)

Forth level of correlation (impossible to explain by coincidence of doing well together): BAN

Just a first setup, maybe a first category with 2,5% of table limit is needed.

The idea is to find a balance between protecting people against PGA or RC players but also allowing us to play enough 10k games. This way RC duos can sit together but people get warned. If there really were unfair RC detections, these players can finally prove otherwise by sitting together and see how the correlation evolves over more games. If the problem remains, penalties increase, if it improves the RC warning can even disappear during the month.

WARNING: a different importance needs to be given to different table limits. We don't want people getting a few 1/7 finishes on the 0 table to lower their RC level.

-i have never playedat the higher tables because PGA prevent me from reaching that level.

-do you have to a president or senator to comment on politics?

-if you do not PGA, why afraid of more severe penalty? i guess the answer is clear.......
