I seem to be picking it up, but dont understand how to finish the game off?
{Players are asking for truce's and whats the flag all about, and why does it say I've been forced to resign when I seem in a good position? |

at 12:28 PM, Thursday April 10, 2008 EDT If a player asks for a truce, it typically means they want to work with you to try to beat everyone else so you finish first and second. Typically the advantage is that you'd both finish higher than you would have otherwise.
When you flag for a position you are simply making it so you cannot finish higher than that position. For example, if you flag for third and then players are eliminated so that there are only thee people left, you automatically drop out of the game in third place. The hope in flagging is that the players above you leave you alone, but there are many different opinions on flagging eiquette and abuse. If you sit out three turns in a row it will automatically resign you from the game. Make sure your avatar (the smiley face) doesn't say "Away" on it. |
