somebodies said that when u were flagging, u are truced with the 1st
that means the others will counter that "truce" if more than 2 people flag, is that a truce? the 1st could still attack the flagging one, while the flagged cannot attack the 1st, is that a truce? i do think it depends what the 1st think and do about someone flagging to him/her flag should not be equal to truce |

at 2:34 AM, Tuesday April 1, 2008 EDT it sucks because some people say "im flagged to (yellow) for 2'nd" and some people will say something like "im flagged for 3'rd to whoever"
some people say "1'st i flag to you if you help me" ...truces aren' truces anymore... no one says "brown? truce" you always hear "blue? we cool?" |

at 10:23 AM, Tuesday April 1, 2008 EDT if you ever hear shit like "we cool" or any kind of helpful movement between two players, 9 times out of 10 these players will truce.
they might say "no we're not truced" but come on guys let's call apples, apples. it's all strategy, and if you're not smart enough to counter a "we cool" then you don't deserve to win. |

at 12:46 PM, Wednesday April 2, 2008 EDT A flag is usually near the end of the game, when positions have pretty much been determined. It usually means 2nd wants to keep their position without 1st beating on them too while they are fighting 3rd who is also trying for 2nd.
Sometimes people will spread themselves out all over the place for a ninja flag of 2nd. I've done this and said "flagged" while expecting 1st to laugh at me and kill me. Sometimes I'm shocked to see them say "ok" and leave me alone. But hey, if that strategy works, why not. Like Integral said, strategy is strategy. 1st chooses whether to respect a flag, many times if he/she doesnt respect a legitimate flag it will put a damper on his/her reputation. Generally if someone flags, they can be assured they dont need to fight that enemy anymore to hold on to first. Why would they continue to attack when there are others trying to get 1st from him/her. Usually, it doesnt mean 1st is going to help 2nd keep 2nd, THAT would be a truce. Of course, I'm basing what I say on the majority of games I see. |
