Stop insisting the rolls are random and please explain how the rolls are actually determined

I know I'm going to get shouted down and called an idiot but, this is getting ridiculous and to play the game I need to know how this game actually works.

The rolls are plainly *not* purely random so, what else determines the outcome?

I'm sick of losing where I have a massive lead and there should be no way I can lose. The latest game was on "[LoBer]" which has 32 spaces. Once all the other players were eliminated, I had 20 and 2nd had 12.

It went on for 100 rounds stuck on the right hand side where you have to go entirely sequentially. Even then, the 2nd place player was consistently making it further into my area than I was into his.

Then suddenly, he couldn't lose and I couldn't win. Turn after turn he was gaining 2 or 3 territories and I couldn't win back any.

It's game #3,423,447.

This kind of thing happens at least one of five games I play. Also, yes, I've watched it happen to other people too. It's happened in my favor and it's just as fucked up then.

Any useful information?

true, the rolls are not random, they are based on how many connecting territories you have, the number of dice you have on the area your attacking with, and position.

I have however seen a pattern with my attacks, when I have a high stack surrounded by low areas my attacks tend to be generally low, not sure if this is how it is supposed to go, but thats how it works for me at least 85% of the time.

Not sure how useful this is, but it makes the most since.

The rolls are not random and in fact are meaningless.

At the start of the game each player is assigned a random finishing place and no matter what, that is the outcome.

Its just guessing who got what thats the hard bit.

Pope, I went 152 rounds on that map. Your advantage wasn't that great because you can only attack at one land on the "bridge" between the 2 big masses. Thus you both build full reserves and whover gets off the bridge 1st has a chance to win.

Oh, and by the way.... it's random.

Well, strictly speaking, no function in any code can generate absolutely random results, but mostly the algorithms are complex enough to produce results that are practically as good as random. After all, how can you define RANDOM?

I don't think any favorites are being played after who has how many territories, dice etc. so this game is fair and what results someone gets are simply determined by luck.

Luck percentage by the way is not what i think it should be. if i lose one and win one, the luck shows that i have ~50% luck, which i think should consider the actual roll values. if out of 2 rolls i lost 8x2, and won 8x8, it should show that i have like 2% luck in that game, instead it shows ~50%.

Well, it's a complex function, involving the spelling of your name, the pixels in your avatar, and your IP address. I suggest you start a new account, load a picture, and switch your Internet Service Provider. Clearly that will improve your chances.

just adding to my note about calculating luck.
i lost all defends and all my attacks in the first round, and it still shows i have 20% luck?
it should've been zero. i don't get how the luck is calculated.
