New onmouseover design of player cards

Hi guys.
I want to start an initiative against the new design of the small in-game player cards. Having to mouseover a card to see such essential stats like my current place or in 8-stack-phase seeing my saved dice is definately not an improvement! It is a VERY negative change for usibility issues and gameplay. Please roll this back! BTW its imo not an improvement for design issues as well. If you need to highlight the player card then pls do it in a neutral color lets say a darker grey. The current hover-color makes it more difficult to difference colors like green and yellow. I know that the "turn"-image over the avatar was misused, but i think it was still the better way of doing it. Greetz adrenalin |

Wasn't it in the FAQ? |

1) still thinks it is funny 2) still gets fooled by such an obvious avatar manipulation |

at 10:41 AM, Monday March 17, 2008 EDT I changed the turn image because I thought it looked a little messy and overlapped the away image. The reason the details are off by default is to clean up the interface for new players. I think its a bit overwhelming to first look at a game and see a whole bunch of numbers that aren't really essential to play.
However I know many players have grown to rely on these numbers so I put in the option. |

has verm still not written it up? I think new design is nice, makes looking at the players easier, and makes things less complex for the avg player. |

at 5:06 PM, Monday March 17, 2008 EDT I agree whole heartedly.
I don't even know it's my turn when I have the sound off! Plus the mouse-over is aweful, I like to be able to see everyone's stats at a quick glance. Instead, it takes over a full turn to mouse-over, analyze, repeat. Then judge. Maybe if this were a game without a time limit, otherwise it's freaking annoying. I will not be playing anymore games until this is resolved. ok, maybe one or two. |

I'll ask again: Ryan, lots of players seem to have the same questions over and over again. I'd be happy to write up a FAQ to address them if you would like to post it. |

and I really really want to turn this mouse over thing off, it's annoying as fuck. |
