Hello.
Today i wanted to play with a friend of mine. But he couldn't sit in the table because i was on the table... But why? We play often together, but we never had a so called "pre game alliance" or whatever, we fought for our points and of course we did that also against each other. It is sad that we can't play together now without only even being informed why it is so. Just because of some guy who lost against one of us or what? I would like to have a answer, because this can't be serious and doesn't help kdice to become more serious if every crying kid who can't play right to win, is afforted help in this way. greetings, bcsn |

It's automatic and not based on people reporting things. Basically when you or cracc0r have won a game the other has typically done very well - this means that a big part of the reason your winning is because you have a friend helping. Although this may seem natural when playing with a friend its not a fair way to play. I fully support playing with friends but the goal should be for fun and not to take advantage of other players. |

at 11:58 AM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST Well, first thank you for answering so quickly. I didn't know that it is automatically. But I think that this function isn't working really well. I truly say, that i am maybe not the nicest player here in kdice, of course, I play to win and not only to have fun, because losing isn't funny :)
But I didn't and still don't support alliances, that were made long before the game starts because of friendships, because this is unfair. If my friend and I started directly next to each other and I have to destroy or at least damage him to get my connection, i'll do so. But if our starts don't force us to attack each other and make each other angry, why should we? It is the same as I start let's say as red, an oppenent I don't know starts as blue e.g. After the first round we have both nice stacks, placed 1st and 2nd and don't stand next to each other. So I try to keep my countries on the other side of the map like he does. Why should i go and attack him, when there is no reason to lose countries and because of that to lose points by attacking him instead of attacking other players right next to me? The only difference is, that i don't know blue in this example and i would stay cool with him until the headsup, if he wouldn't attack me and so would I do with a friend. I make no difference between unknown opponents and friends in this game and I wanted to keep that. But because of this new function kdice makes a lot less fun and i think it is sad, because this game is genius and I want to share my enthusiasm with my friends! I would appreciate, if you could cancel this lock of not playing together for me and cracc0r. Thanks for listening, greetings, bcsn |

at 1:04 PM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST if as you said you are just here to play and have fun and possibly win, then just go to any table and play with 6 other strangers. why do you have to sit with your friend(s)? i really see no good reason to do so other than PGA.
if playing with your friend(s) is so important to you, then pick up the phone and ask him out to shoot some hoops. or get an xbox or wii to play on-line. i strongly oppose to lifting his ban. |

at 2:30 PM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST well, we like to play kdice, why shouldn't we get the chance to play on the same table?
btw, ur argument is bad. it is not topic to play together anything else than kdice, it is topic to play kdice with friends! just because some kiddie dumbasses (sorry) shake their balls when they win all their because of pga, it doesn't mean that every player who have friends in the playerslist and play with them on the same tables is up to that kind of alliance thing. some player are honest and so are we. i wouldn't make this protest and catch ur non-argumented critics just because u smell pga and hate it, if i could not truly say that i play fair and without pga, just wanna have a good time hier some days and chill out with friends. so please think about this program again or at least about our ban, thx. |

at 3:09 PM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST one solution is at the start of every game, you tell everyone who is your friend and let them decide how to deal with you and your friend. will you do that? since you claimed you are not PGA then you shouldn't have a problem telling everyone, right?

at 3:26 PM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST this whole problem of pga and the arguments with bcsn wouldn´t happen if ryan just implements a qualifaction level before let players score at a competitive level
a qualification/non competitive/open for all/free level and a scoring/competitive/just open for players, who won their last table/but closed for all the others and only if u won a table u have the chance to play for scores/points in the competition table and if u don´t win the comp table this sort of tables are against closed for u until u open it with winning a free table this would be so easy - no argues anymore- no whining kiddies - no pga problems - no dissapointed friends ---- but again i fear - noone listens |

at 3:47 PM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST getting points or getting to top 25 is the primary motivator of pga.
i don't see how that is going to solve the problem - people will pga to get pass the qualification level as fast as they can, and will then pag to gain as many points as possible. why do you have a problem announcing you are playing with friends? is it because you have something to hide? PGA is cheating. Try not be a whiner and accept the consequences. |
