If you live in a state with a primary, please vote for Barack Obama

I'm sorry if this isn't the place, but I don't get excited about something often, and this is something.

Even if you are a registered independent or "declined to state" your affiliation you can still vote in the Democratic primary but you must request it.

As long as you are in line when the polls close you are guaranteed a vote.

If there is a question in your mind if you're registered in the correct address you can request a provisional ballot if you are not on your precinct's rolls. The Provisional ballot means that they will confirm your eligibility for you later that day, but you can vote immediately.

As long as you registered once you are registered for life in that state and can request a provisional ballot if you are uncertain of where to vote.

If you would like to read more about the issues Barack supports you can go to BarackObama.com

But above all, whoever you support, please vote.

Thank you for your time, see you on the tables.

You know, I'm voting for Obama too, but control your election erection, for fuck's sake.

This opens the floodgates to more stupid, and probably should be deleted.

Amusing polling story:

I was sitting in my polling place waiting for them to sort the rolls out (I got there before the official open time of 8 AM, they are typically are ready for voters around 715-730 though) when someone came in and asked if it was okay if they left some bottled OJ and some pastries saying they were non-partisian and just wanted to leave something for the early voters. I would guess that election law would not allow this no matter the affiliation of the group unless it was someone from the actual election commission but who is going to say no to free food. So they allow him to leave the food and I indulge in some delicious Tropicana and a nice fresh muffin after I drop my ballot in the box. Now as I am leaving the polling place I notice the guy that dropped off the food standing with a friend and handing out Obama stickers. Gotta love US elections.

Anyone have any interesting stories about voting today?
