Does flagging mean you can't fight for the place you flagged for?

In a recent game I flagged for 2nd, because I didn't have a hope in hell of getting 1st. I proceeded to attack a contender for the 2nd. The leading player expressed disaproval, both verbally and by hammering me out of the game:
"you flagged and then attacked someone who had a shot at second...that's a puss move" Is this the general feeling of the kdice community? |

at 1:18 PM, Saturday February 2, 2008 EST I had the same thing happen to me. I tried to explain to first what I was doing and he wouldnt listen. Then third place turned on first and then it was OK if I hit third. Funny how that works.
Flagging for second place means that you are not a threat to first. It is POLITE for first place to honor this and leave second alone unless there are some other reasons (truces, need to get through, etc) why first would need to attack the flagged second. |
