noticed some strange withdrawal symptoms

This morning I found myself having strange symptoms whilst trying to do some work. My hands are shaking, I have difficulties concentrating and I have a slight headache. I read every new post in the kdice forum about 5 times by now so I practically know them by hard.

Reading the forum slightly eases the symptoms I encountered but for the moment the only thing that completely stops the problems is playing a dicewars game. The only problem with that is that the positive effect seems to last shoter game by game.

So I am affraid this alternative therapy will not get me through the day. I need the real deal, I urgently NEED an emergency shot of kdice.

Hmmmm, I'm afraid we should work on your symptoms, Mr. Jurgen. Come to my clinic next monday at 10:00 a.m. (GMT+1).

Best regards.

No awes, 6 hours to go and not even the test server is up!!!

I used up all my fun ways to win at dicewars already so I am really desperate for ideas here.

Don't bother with:

* the awesome comeback from a 3 or 4 stack
* skip 3 first turns
* win by keeping everyone alive: variations for getting everyone together to the center or good old farm style towards the corners
* only 1 advantage roll a turn + as many X v X as you want (X v X alone doesn't work)
* after connecting 5 lands, skip a turn , play a turn
* let a bot get to 20 lands and mess him up

I just tried winning by getting all the border lands first before I took the center, that didn't work. Those crazy bots learned how to double cut man!

So Mr Psychiatrist, I can take it, tell me up front, do I have the beginning syptoms of an addiction???

I totally know what you mean my only problem is that I can't sleep at night without seeing the game in my head over and over and over trying to decide my move and mumbling the consequences of my move ^-^

I have a recurring nightmare about losing a 4v3 or 5v4 on my first turn. It shouldn't mess me up as bad as it does.

Mr Jurgen:

Addiction: recurring compulsion to engage in some specific activity, despite harmful consequences to your health, mental state or social life.

I don't have a prescription to you, I'm sorry but you'll have to solve it by yourself.

Best regards,

Dr. K. Abal, Psychiatrist.

I have an idea we wait an hour or so play as much kdice as possible until our fingers fall off and then we will have to stop!!!!!Oh wait...Well it seemed like a good idea before it was written

Dear Dr. K. Abal,

I kindly thank you for comfirming the diagnosis. My own research on the matter, more precisely concerning the possible implications of such a deeprooted addiction made me conclude that in fact the condition I am in is -as you so wisely suggested-untreatable.

So now I think I can only try to minimize the side-effects of my addiction by keep playing kdice on a regular basis. I was just wondering if you could still help me out in advising me on the correct dosage of kdice/day

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

Jurgen
