We're lost. Of course, this is no big deal. We've gone through "social rifts" in kdice before with rnd's controversy, the cabal and the proxies, all the fuzz. But it's not healthy.
I see a few things going on: 1. The top players don't want to be pushed around, or if anything, they want some clear guidelines as to what they can do and what they cannot do. Yet, some are impatient and have taken the liberty of making their own rules, and now that Ryan doesn't like that, things are messy. 2. With that mess, flaws in Ryan's decision making are more and more pronounced. He clearly doesn't want anyone to cheat, and even though he is enforcing it, his actions are unknown to the masses of kdice. He's making up the rules as he goes. 3. The kdice community it torn between those who are extreme supporters of Ryan, those who are the alleged offenders to Ryan's rule, those who are trying to sort it all out, and newbs who don't give a fuck. This concludes tonight's "State of KDice Address" Help yourself to cookies and coffee at the door, and remember to tip your valet. Goodnight. |
