endgame, me, purple and yellow.
yellow had what i figured was a fairly insurmountable lead, so i flagged for 2nd place. yellow out of sheer...impatience? starts overextending, and attacks both purple and i even though i'd previously announced that i'd flagged in the chat (thus letting him/her know that i posed no further threat). so i started attacking him/her again (bad form to attack somebody who announced that they're flagged, imo), as did purple. Yellow then flagged out for 3rd. and somehow purple ended up 1st even though i had far more land. in this situation shouldn't I have gotten 2nd, given that i was 1st among those left on the board? |
