Beauty and ugliness

What do you see when you look at the threads at our Forum? It seems that most of the topics are about ugliness - cheating, accusations, complaints, leaving with the sens of disappointment, lack of luck, conflicts.... The most often used word starts with the letter "f".

Where is the beauty of the life? Where is love, friendship, gratitude, appreciation? What makes us so fascinated with the ugly things?

......oh, dear, wait – are not these few sentences above also a form of a complaint????

things have gone a little out of hand lately. but unless we have official rules and the punishment is suspension of account or ban, i can see this trend continue for some time.....too bad.....

I agree with you completely Cleo.

So come back and be the unofficial kdice moderator. Everybody loves you. You are fair. Bring back the love to Kdice.

There is also another nominee in the running,
JCP4P, who is also fair moderate and intelligent soul.

Cleo you could form a triumverate with Jcp4p, and one other more evil player -- like say RageUnleashed or Das Fury.....

K why dont retired players like mikeypoo and cleo, and kehoe go away?

People need to learn to have a more open mind towards change, and to listen to what the real players are saying about the game and quit saying the same things, quit the name calling, and making the same baseless accusations and pointing fingers over and over again.

I would to take this opportunity to nominate kdicefreak, leekstep or myself as Kdice moderator. We all have the ear of Ryan, i hope, and we are fair and moderate voices of reason.

In conclusion I would like to say, STFU It's Ryan's game!

PGA Monitor - number of all games played - less than 50.
Cleopatra - number of all games played - more than 1700.
Who is the real player?

PGA Monitor - number of accusations and pointing fingers - hard to count;
Cleopatra - number of accusations and pointing fingers - maybe one I am aware of in all my Forum posts.

I don't like "f" words either cleo, so clearly i consider your posting an absolute outrage! *orum, *riendship, *ascinated, *ew and lastly *orm, all appear prominently.
Tsk tsk.
Disgusting language, it makes sick!

(sorry *acetiousness comes *ear*ully e**ortlessly to me)

Well Cleo, you have a very interesting point there. It's sad that most of our conversations are attacks on one another, regardless of the sense of humor involved. This goes hand in hand with what I said about a "disappearing" kdice community. Sadly, I think the ELO days were a time when all it was was community.there was a limit to the points one could obtain, and with a few really good games you could be up top. With a couple of bad games, it was back down to the 1800 tables, but it could go on and on. Sorta like social recycling :D

Now, it's fairly easy to play smart for points and conservatively or with other, more controversial strategies. but getting up there is harder than ever, even with higher point gains. And unfortunately, inside jokes and relationships and what not among the top 100 or so are more frequent and camaraderie, although good, still seems to make certain things "limited" in more frequent forum posts.

I don't care for Lesplaydice's (hate to use names, but this is the only example) obtrusive attitude, nor for the devil-may-care likes of others. But that's how I see it. You may not, you may even believe the opposite.

And we don't really need to talk about who should be a moderator or not. Only when Ryan says "OK, I need some help" should that be of any concern. And while it's excellent to have a passion for kdice, experience is also a must. PGA monitor and kdice freak, you may live to uphold morals and rules on this game (live may be the key word) but do you know kdice like I do? Or Cleo? Or anyone else who's been here and played a lot of games, seen all or most of the drama (I missed the exile of rnd; I found a life :D), and witnessed kdice in all of it's forms?

It's all too complicated right now. And we comeback for several reasons, to whoever said "why don't you just leave?". It's hard to leave good memories, which we have here at kdice. We're concerned. What's wrong with that? (And I tend to over dramaticize my emotions; I'm never going to leave. But until May, school will be more of a priority than ever, so less of JDizzle will be seen)
