A large factor in that is dom. I bet that if you looked at the points for first vs sixth, vs the points you got for your dom in those two games, it would explain a lot.

u can get 1.5k or 2k in 2500table easily
so u can lose 1k now

if you get -1k for 6th you either didn't do enough with your bad start or you flagged too early/too late.

if you only get 1k for 1st, you either didn't maximize your potential for points (which is even possible in a fair way), you came 1st in a late stage of the game or eryone else chickened out very early and you had a round 8 win.

Please note that i was kind enough to leave out * you kinda suck at the 2,5k tables * for both +1k and -1k (because i hope those don't apply and I would otherwise convinse you to stay at 500). Hmmmm, strike that last part, if you really suck at 2,5k, please only sit at games where I sit, I NEED those easy points from you;-).
