Why i'd prefer ELO over current scoring system

I know this issue has been discussed a thousand times, but let me tell you what i recently found out.
I dislike the idea of starting from scratch every month. kdice is a very random game, and you need to play A LOT of games to reveal your true skill in the ranking. some beginner fellow thought he was better than me just basing on our scores. then i asked him how many games he played this month. he played 200, i played 50. that's why i miss ELO. proving my skill every month is a bit tiring. i think it is possible to add ELO aside from the current scoring system, just for reference. thx for reading. |
