The new flagging system is a mess in practice

I would not have expected this; I thought this was a great idea. Well, during most games I have played it just lead to bad karma on the tables instead. Discussions who should be what place or punk leaders categorically destroying those first who ranked themselves highest by flag.
Both aspects suck substantially. First, Kdice is not about discussing who's best, but making facts by being the better conqueror. Second, the game system should not invite underprivileged retards to reverse fair table orders. If they think the real world is not fair to them, don't give them 'that feeling' of giving something back. Kdice is not your therapist! One might argue, that you cannot prevent this behavior and that the new flagging hasn't got anything to do with it at all. But just look at the new tables. The new flagging just creates a lot more stir and that's what the underpivileged wannabe punks are desperatly searching. If you have 3 or 4 players all agreeing on a fair rank and flagged and a bug in the corner behind the leader who does preventing an automatic end. Just imagine all the shouting the little attention whore gets, when attacking the pack in reverse order. With the old flagging one could say, stop whining or flag. With the new system you are flagged, but forced to give the leader a stage for his exclusive and often childish endgame. |

Maybe cuz i dont notice if someone argues in the chatbox. I don“t care... But I think the new flagging system leads very often to a shorter endgame...it often happens that the game ends before the dominant players has to conquer the 4th, the 3rd and then he 2nd, which can take ages... so the flagging system beware us of boring and lame endgames... |

Only thing I dont like about it, is you can flag but still attack the one you flagged to, therefore maintain maximum place but screw the leader at some point

Do i still lose dom? Whith the old flagging system I flagged if the game looked hopeless. So i could save at least my dom points. But now i cant flag instantly. |
