The new scoring seems to greatly reward playing the b...
well, playing for second place. If the points awarded for second and third were very similar, then there wouldnt be much incentive to wimp out and give the game away to the person with the lucky start. Both second and third wouldnt have much to lose for competing for the win, and the reward for competiting would be greater. If you want the game to be competitive, then I suggest changing the scoring and giving second and third place nearly the same amount of points. Or the game can end like it usually does at the 200 or higher tables... Second and third place rarely compete for the win. They just help the leader. |

Just give the same all the points for placement to first - all the others should get only points from dominance. No more 1-2 truces, no cowards in the corners - only straight playing for #1. What do you think? |
