the more i think about it, why should someone be rewarded AT ALL for finishing 2nd instead of 3rd? All it leads to is these endings where two people could overtake the leader but one of them bitches out and says "i want 2nd", which is just stupid.

I say only use dominance to score 4th place thru 7th ... when it gets to the top 3, throw the remaining diamonds into a pool to be split up 60-20-20 among the top 3 players. Then everyone will have to play for 1st instead of being a little pussy.
