Okay, now that the fires of rage have died down, I should probably elaborate.

Trucing has a time and a place. Where I believe it does not have a place (for no good reason other than that I find it really annoying) is when someone who has worked really, really hard to get a good first is completely screwed over by weaker players who gang up against him/her. The more talented, harder working player is forced to flag for third (or less) while the trucers nab the points.

And before anyone replies saying I'm just moaning because I lost a game.... of course I am! But it happens to all of us, and surely everyone finds it equally irritating.

Anyway, comments are welcome.

So are you suggesting that all of the other players just fight each other and ignore the 1st place player? That's weak... if you're strong enough and in the best position, you'll withstand the attacks.

No, I wasn't suggesting that. Overfarming by first place is equally frustrating.

What I'm looking for is some kind of happy medium. I have no idea if there is one, though...

Your happy medium is to truce with someone before they truce against you.

My only quip about trucing only involves some earlier months of kdice
some players would go 3 to one on the guy in first. Fucking annoying and it cost me several almost 1st games. But since trucing is rare nowadays, I don't see how you can have such a great problem with it. As long as I know my enemies in cohoots with each other, it's just another challenge.

I don't have a problem with trucing it's the people attacking me that really gets to me.
