I don't know if it's necessary to write up a topic on it, but I think that kdice has been very boring recently. I mean in the social aspect. And it does involve rnd a little bit.

Kdice used to have a glorious social community. Players had their own kdice personalities and when they interacted it was very enjoying to watch/read. It's gone though it's phases and through different scoring systems (anyone remember fuzzycat?). And while most of this is directed at the "uppercrust" tables, it still is maintained at other levels as well.

I met a lot of cool people on the 1800 tables in the old system, and just reading the chat of the 2000 games was amusing enough! And I miss the few but prominent late night games where everyone's goofy and we have a blast (although, I just had one the other night, can't complain)
We all come here for different things, and even for a casual gamer, you can learn a lot about other people.

This is more than just a game too. Really, it's a mini-myspace surrounding this awesome game called kdice that if Ryan doesn't get on the ball and start marketing it a little bit, he's missing out on some dollar$!(seriously, a kdice zip up hoodie would be awesome for x-mas, and be hip & stylish!) So you can understand my frustration when this community has gone to shambles after the stupid cabal bullshit.

Fortunately, Grunvagr's back, aixo's back, and other notable names are returning in some form or another. So, everything is not lost. Hopefully, we'll get the global kdice community rebuilt, hopefully Ryan and rnd will resolve their conflict. Hopefully, I'll get better at this game with less time losing, and still maintain my deep insight into kdice.

So, I'm looking forward to more good times here, and I need some fucking sleep (it's 1:40 AM)

I agree, its not as entertaining anymore with the drama being removed from the game.
