That go to lower tables and run into each other, no, they don't have pga, they are just friendly and have solidarity with their high score buddies, and their scores keep going up while the score of the low table players goes down and down.

. let's hate on the high scores! . who cares if it takes close to 15 minutes to get a game going at the high tables and that it is a longer wait to get a game going than to actually play the damned match . i agree ... they should just sit there alone until 6 other people happen to roll by at 2 AM on a Tuesday ... they should never EVAR feel welcomed at any table lower than 1000 . in fact ... perma-ban anyone with a score over 1000 playing at ANY table except 1k and up . damned vultures and swine |

use top players tactics and adapt thier gameplay to ur own...i am currently ranked 18th and even now, i am still learning. i learned from sarahxxx and she learned from grunvagr (who, i hear is quite a legend...retired of course) best tip i can give is mentioned above otherwise, deal with it and dont complain! |

at 6:38 AM, Monday November 19, 2007 EST well said awesomeness,
somthing top players can complain about too at the lower tables is that they get attacked by everyone without reason sometimes. Beginners feel great when they think the can "win" against a top 25 player. But I don't complain about it, it is a sideeffect from playing at the lower tables, i deal with it and adapt my strategy. Same goes for your problem La Mala Suerte. It might not only be because top25 players are on your table that you lose no? Just learn to lay against them. I would not mind a ban for top1000 point players to sit in at the 10 tables however. It means they will have to play us who really want more people at the 200 and 1k tables! |

at 7:15 AM, Monday November 19, 2007 EST Top players tactics? what are they? PGA? Point Farming? I have played quite a bit in the 200 tables (with most players having over 1000 pts) and that's all I can see. Skill, of course that have better skills, but it's the PGA and point farming that help them score the points that have.

at 8:08 AM, Monday November 19, 2007 EST pga is out of the question ethically but what is wrong with a limited level of farming?
As long as you keep the deserved 2nd and 3rd in their position, why not drag a game a few more turns then nescessary? I always leave oppnents in direct contact with each other so they can fight it out. Winning also means preventing others from winning and good players know how to do that best. So I know there are a few unethical or unfriendly top players but don't confuse good tactical play and point maximalisation (and even more important:loss minimalisation!) with unfriendly or unethical. |
