You did the right thing, the game is based on points and its still called a "strategy" game. Use whatever strategy gives you points.

Thx for the support, I'm now realizing that those people who complained about point farming were top players, I think they were mad that a lower level player kicked there butt (which was awesome by the way :)). I'm taking back my appology unless someone shows me a rule on the subject. By the way the name calling I recieved in that game was not cool, talk about poor sportmanship, thanks for the feedback. I would like to hear more from players on this subject. I'm a peaceful man, when players do that to me I take it with a grain of salt and move on, it's just a game. If we were playing for money things would be different but were not......peace :)

Hey, people don't have to apologize - facts are a bit off though

Grape had around 20 territories, 4th place was in a corner with 3-4, and 2nd (4-5) and 3rd (4-5)were connected and fighting for 2nd place. The "help" asked to Grape was to let 2nd and 3rd fight it out for 2nd without Grape attacking.

Grape decides to "help" by splitting 2nd and 3rd from each other, and then keeping 3 players seperated with 3 lands each for multiple turns without ever killing them. As a result, each player ended up losing points (4th-2nd), while Grape "farmed" an extra 40 or so points off.

Good tactic? In some people's minds I suppose

"we" were not all that happy losing points for 4th-2nd because Grape got greedy and never killed anyone/or let us kill each other. Grape got an extra 40 points for first that game, but angered 3 players quite a bit.

There is no rule for that man, but if you make sure that you are the only winner in a game where 2nd-4th is "forced" to donate points to you while you seperate/refuse to kill anyone - then you'd better be prepared for players to remember how you treated them in a "similar" situation.

TGG need not apologize, rather the people complaing should. Kdice is not like sports, where it doesn't matter how much you win by, just as long as you win. The only thing that counts in KDice is points.

Not only should farming be expected, complaining about it ruins the integrity of the game. It creates a communist-like social contract in a game that is inheritantly meant to be survival of the fittest.

Aside from possibly my post, which starts with "Hey, people don't have to apologize", people said it was up to him. So try reading the responses biteme, or you can just... you I suppose ;)
