Who cares about PGA announcements?

Well I do for one. But so do a lot of other people who would appreciate knowing who is allied when those people don't have the integrity to announce it themselves.
Personally I could care less about PGAs. They'll happen. But it goes to common courtesy to say "Hey all so-and-so is my friend and we don't attack each other." It just gives fair warning to others. Ah, but being fair isn't typically in the interest of most of those who PGA, now is it? Nor is common courtesy something they tend to exude. I find it very telling those that jump on here telling us to "get over it" with respect to PGAs. It really demonstrates their character. If those who are interested in knowing who is PGA get together and tell each other, why should you care? I suppose it does diminish the advantage you have garnered for yourselves... To which I say: Oh well. |

but one piece of advice......Hart will come after you because you are against PGA. She may make all her friends against you so that you can never play at the higher tables. be afraid, be very afraid. |

at 1:37 PM, Wednesday October 10, 2007 EDT Hehe, kdicefreak, I already can't play at the higher tables because of that. Somewhere along the line I didn't "play ball" and pissed off the wrong people. Oh well. :)
As for PGA, understand that I'm *not* against it. I'm simply all in favor of the exposure of it. My post at first might seem like I think PGAs are only done by cheaters, etc. That is not the case. I believe most PGAs occur because of friendships between two (or more) people. Now how can we dis on friendship, hm? :) But the people who complain about the exposure of PGAs... *their* integrity I do question. Why would they care if they are not upset at losing the advantage a PGA has to offer? If they are just friends being friends, well then they shouldn't mind if their friendship is exposed. Besides, most of the PGAs are pretty obvious to anyone paying attention. Good luck at the tables, kdicefreak. I suspect we'll need it. :) |

i cannot be against something i have no control over. after all, PGA is part of the social aspect of the game. like you, i also just mean to let others know so that players can decide whether to play with the PGAers or not. good luck. |

at 4:59 PM, Wednesday October 10, 2007 EDT There are so many PGA's that its impossible to check a list of everyone that is sitting. Unless you have the memory of an elephant or something. So, I dont really care to hear PGA announcements, I just try to figure them out during my current game and flag accordingly.

correct @Big Jumblies you don't need to know all PGA, just those happening in the last hours; PGA people tend to keep moving (together) from table to table. original PGA thread & justification (still linked from the now obsolete wiki): http://aplayr.com/kdice/kdice/forum/topics/secret%20pre-game%20alliances/ ********************************************** Please report the alleged PGA on this forum thread. If you report the PGA fast, others can read the thread and avoid it. If a PGA between X,Y was reported in the last hour, why would anybody sit at the same table with them? Players should read about the alleged PGAs from the last couple of hours and decide if they want to take the risk or not of playing with these people. If players will avoid the X and Y pair, all X and Y have to do is sit at different tables. Nobody is trying to prove that X, Y was indeed a PGA, but they should split if suspicions arise. ********************************************** |
