Ssergio's lead that he has maintained all week is lessening since he is not playing games.

In baseball two teams divide up one game. A losing team falls one game behind the winner. If two teams miss a game, they are assessed half a game each (meaning they fall half a game behind winners, advance half a game against losers). When they make the game up later, they recover their assessment. In kdice, there are 3 1/2 "games" to divide up among 7 players in each contest. Seventh place loses one game with respect to the winner, sixth loses 5/6, fifth loses 4/6, etc. Any group of seven players who could have played a game, but didn't, are assessed half a game each, meaning they each fall half a game behind winners. In kdice, missed games don't have to be made up. But for each game you don't play, that puts you another half game behind the winners. |
