Rewarding elimination

What if players got bonus points for eliminating other players? An eliminated player would therefor "pay" extra antes when eliminated.

That would force players to flag in order to not pay lose extra points and force winning players to eliminate rivals instead of farming them which currently leads to horrible and frustrating end game situations.

I'd propose that players may only flag during their own turn, in order not to abuse the "I flag right before you kill me" scenario.

This isn't too different from what I was trying to suggest. I like the idea.

The only issue with this variant is that if a player in first perceives that he will get more points from farming (say from a really stupid player who doesn't know when to quit) vs killing him then he'll do that and nothing will be different from now.

The deteriorating bonus suggestion I made would solve that. Unless of course the bonus for player elimination was large (say 100 points...)

Overall I think *something* should be done to fix the end game issues that exist. There is currently ZERO incentive for the player in first place to eliminate opponents.
