In the 0 games, there's an incentive for those with 0 points to stay in as long as possible, contrary to games with people who have points to lose.
Could we change the starting # points to 100 from 0 (and add 100 to all existing players) so that even new players/bad can't go balls out without any penalty? I was on the receiving end in 1st one game where a 0 player didn't give up, so I could have gotten tons more points toying with him. John |

at 1:22 PM, Wednesday September 12, 2007 EDT It doesn't work. A player can still go "balls out" and then create a new account if having 100 points was important. Play gpokr and you'll see it -- people get $1500 for free, and go all in with no cards because they know they'll get another $1500 in ten minutes.
The current system here is ideal. If someone has 0 points, then in my experience they're more than likely to give you 15 points if you give them enough rope. And if that isn't your cup of tea, then play at a 10 table. |
