I've heard a disturbing rumor, and I hope Ryan an clear the air. As most of us know, Apple has reduce the price of the iPhone by $200.

As many of us also know, this pissed off many of the Apple faithful and Apple was forced to offer an $100 rebate to all iPhone customers. That's about a $50 - 100 million dollar loss for Apple! Don't believe me? Do the math, 1 million iPhones * $100!

Steve Jobs is no dummy, he knows he's got make that money up somehow. He's got to cater to the stockholders, else he's toast.

You've probably read that the iPod and the iPhone are just Apple's way of subverting Microsoft, taking over the world, and most importantly taking over our lives. We've seen iPod jump to iPhone, iTV, and iTunes. More importantly recently it's been rumored that Apple planns to iDestroy Sony's PSP.

OK, now we're finally getting to the Kdice issue and this is where it gets interesting. The rumor on the street is that in order to make up for the $100 million in lost iPhone sales that Apple is going to start a hosted gaming service avaialble on iPhones. More specificlaly the rumor is that KDice will be thhe first game available.

Most troubling is that Apple plans to buy KDice and restrict it to only be available via iPhone. Why you ask? KDice is simple enough to play on a phone, yet stil lthe perfect game to take advantage of the iPhone wireless features.

No doubt this will earn Ryan billions! Ryan is this true? Well deserved!
