I get that whenever I load the game on Firefox (Windoze) but I refresh one or 2 times and the table will finally appear. You might try that or using another browser.

keep the page active while it is loading, and it will load correctly

I thought the game just didn't work in Firefox. I've NEVER been able to see the board in Firefox, since the day it came out.

I used to be able to see the game in firefox, but since the new version came out I haven't been able to at all. Refreshes don't help.

I play the game just fine using Firefox on a Windows XP machine.

However, when I try to play at home on a Mac (10.3, 5 year old machine) I have all sorts of problems.

It used to be that the game just ran slower and slower as time progressed, until it got to the point that previous players' turns would still be being animated during my turn, and I wouldn't get a chance to move.

Recently, however, things have gotten worse. Now, I see the game board at the start, but I hardly see any progress once the game starts. I'll see other players' timers tick down to zero without them (apparently) making a move. Then, some time later, I'll see a single move of, say, green's animated, while brown is marked as having the turn, and the commentary is unconnected with either player. Naturally, I don't get the opportunity to move at all.

If I refresh the page the map is updated to show (what I assume is) the current state of play, but still everything runs like molassas.

I have the same problems you all have. Safari won't display the map anymore for this month's kdice, and firefox and opera are just too slow to keep up during the endgame. Maybe we should donate.

I don't have this problem on IE, only on FF.

I still get lag and redraw issues on IE though...
